Mayhah Suri
Mayhah began dance training in classical Indian styles as a young child, learning Kathak and then Odisissi. By her early teens, she had switched her focus and began training intensively in modern dance. As a dancer in the CityDance Youth Conservatory, she performed at a variety of Washington, D.C venues, including the Strathmore and the Kennedy Center. She also kept up with Indian dance styles as part of a Bollywood team in high school.
In college, she fused her Indian and Western training while part of a Bollywood fusion dance team. Mayhah holds a BS in environmental science and works on climate change and agricultural issues.
While not dancing, Mayhah enjoys traveling and reading.
