In Hindi, the term “Sapan” means dream. It is also the acronym for the SAPAN Institute. With this in mind, we invite you to explore our dream and live yours by getting involved. The SAPAN Institute – "Dream It. Live It.”

Networking
The SAPAN Exchange is another entirely new and novel concept uniquely provided by the SAPAN Institute. The Exchange is designed to provide the greater Washington, D.C. area performing arts community with a means to network and share artistic opportunities with one another through:
- Fun, casual networking events; and
- The SAPAN discussion board (coming soon).
By becoming a member of the SAPAN Exchange, you will receive discounted entrance to our networking events as well as access to our discussion board, where members can post performance opportunities, publicize events and share ideas. Become a part of this growing network of performing artists. Email divani@sapanarts.org for more information.
Networking Events

- Indian dance performances by dancers of the SAPAN Performance Company and Bhangra Beats (www.bhangrabeats.org); and
- Live Latin music by Movimiento, Washington, D.C.’s premier Salsa music band (www.myspace.com/movimientodc-)
