Natasha has loved the stage since she was 5 years old. Classically trained in both Bharatnatyam and Odissi, she loves combining her passion for Bollywood jatka-numbers with her expertise in classical dance forms to create unique pieces. During her dancing career, she has had the honor of performing for a variety of honorable guests across the country and around the world, including the Governor of Washington and the U.S. Ambassador to Brazil. Being one of the 12 finalists in America, she competed in the popular dance competition Boogie Woogie. She has won many accolades for her talents including the Yuva Kalavikash award for her outstanding contribution to promoting Oriya art and the Subrina Biswal Award. Growing up, she raised over $30k for Child Rights and You, (C.R.Y.) performing with Dance Co., Dreams and choreographed for Seattle’s own South Indian street dance team, Encore. Given her love for public service and strategic communications, she moved to Washington D.C. after graduating from the University of San Diego. She currently is the Communications Manager at Mobile Future, a coalition that focuses on wireless issues. When she is not working, she can be found creating global fusion dishes in her kitchen or rooting for the Seahawks!
