Armaan is a resident dancer of SAPAN and has been dancing since he was 5 years old. While he started out doing Bollywood, he started learning Bhangra in high school and went on to join Cornell Bhangra for 4 years, where he led the team as President and Captain his senior year. Armaan also was the director of Pao Bhangra XIV, the largest Bhangra exhibition in North America. His mission in college was to promote and spread South Asian culture through performances on campus, alumni events, competitions, and networking events. Ultimately, Armaan was given the opportunity to lead his team to the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent, where Cornell Bhangra was able to help promote South Asian culture on mainstream national television. Since graduating, Armaan has danced with Tune Squad Bhangra and hopes to dance at one more competition before “retiring.” Apart from dancing, Armaan studied hotel management in school and is an avid foodie and cook. He claims to make the best steaks in DC!
